Actually, this is a very superior announcement. If you have very extensive experience with ASP.NET Membership and Role Management, then you must read the new way of implementing authentication and authorization in the Microsoft clouds (Ex: Azure web role). Specially difference between role based authorization with claim.
Under the P & P project, they are going to release the guide under two categories. Enterprise track and ISV track. So broadly, Microsoft wants to move our existing skills set to the cloud, but our thinking about identity management should be changed with “claim-based identity“.
